Jessica Carson

Founder & CEO

I strongly believe that a healthy mind is essential for overall well-being. My goal is to support individuals in discovering their strengths, healing from life’s hardships, and growing into the best versions of themselves.

In our work together, you can develop practical skills and techniques to cope with distressing thoughts and emotions, improve focus, reduce stress, and increase awareness of your thoughts and feelings through mindfulness. I am especially passionate about helping individuals heal from past trauma and experiences that can leave us feeling stuck. When we begin to reconnect with our bodies and process stored emotions, many people experience a sense of relief, empowerment, and greater freedom in their lives.

It is truly a privilege to walk alongside individuals on their journey of self-discovery and personal growth. I describe my style as direct, compassionate, and approachable, and I often incorporate humor when appropriate. I strive to create a safe, comfortable environment where clients feel heard, supported, and understood.

I earned my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from SUNY Oswego in 2015 and have experience working with individuals from diverse backgrounds and life experiences.

Dr. Susan McInvale

Licensed Clinical Mental Health Therapist

Dr. Susan McInvale is a psychologist and Licensed Clinical Mental Health Therapist with 10 years of experience as a therapist. She specializes in CBT, DBT, Gestalt, Positive Psychology, couples counseling, and Existential therapy.

She is passionate about working with people who struggle with anxiety, depression, and mood disorders. She provides cognitive behavioral therapy which helps her clients understand that the way they think is not often the best view of themselves. Their thoughts can be distorted and affect how they process the world around them.

She has experience working with a variety of age groups from teens to older adults. She especially enjoys working with young adults who are searching for meaning in their lives and focusing on career development—which comes naturally to her after 25 years as an educator! Understanding and improving ourselves is what most people desire.

Her clients have all the ability within them to live without a panic attack, ruminating thoughts, sadness, and anxiety. When they work with her to learn how they can control negative thoughts and reduce depressive symptoms, they are on the right path to self-awareness and success.

I hold a Dual master's degree in social work and social science from SUNY Albany and Binghamton University, completed in 2000. For over 25 years, I have been dedicated to helping adolescents, families, and adults navigate life's challenges, and discover their own paths toward healing. At the heart of my work is connection. I believe that meaningful change begins with a trusting relationship. I am a compassionate therapist who will meet you where you are-walking beside you as you work toward balance, clarity, and self-acceptance.

My approach integrates a variety of evidenced based methods, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Somatic Therapy, and Supportive counseling. I also use trauma-focused and strength-based perspectives to help you build resilience and rediscover your inner strengths. Whether you are experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, life transitions, relationship struggles, or low self-esteem, my goal is to provide a safe and collaborative space for healing and growth. Together, we will work to create meaningful change that supports your overall well-being.
