Jessica Carson

Founder & CEO

I believe strongly in the importance of a healthy mind for whole-body wellness. My goal is to help people discover strengths, heal, and grow as individuals while recovering from life's hardships. You can gain the development of skills and techniques to cope with distress and difficult thoughts, improve focus, decrease stress, and become aware of your thoughts and feelings through mindfulness. I am passionate about healing our bodies from past trauma and experiences that keeps us stuck. When we tune into our bodies and release negative stored energy we find freedom, relief and empowerment. It brings me great joy to work along side individuals in their self discovery journey and I can't imagine doing any other work! I describe myself as direct, humorous, and compassionate and I strive to create a safe, comfortable space for people to process their lives and feel heard. I completed my master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at SUNY Oswego in 2015 and have experience working with people from all backgrounds and challenges.

Dr. Susan McInvale

Licensed Clinical Mental Health Therapist

Dr. Susan McInvale is a psychologist and Licensed Clinical Mental Health Therapist with 10 years of experience as a therapist. She specializes in CBT, DBT, Gestalt, Positive Psychology, couples counseling, and Existential therapy.

She is passionate about working with people who struggle with anxiety, depression, and mood disorders. She provides cognitive behavioral therapy which helps her clients understand that the way they think is not often the best view of themselves. Their thoughts can be distorted and affect how they process the world around them.

She has experience working with a variety of age groups from teens to older adults. She especially enjoys working with young adults who are searching for meaning in their lives and focusing on career development—which comes naturally to her after 25 years as an educator! Understanding and improving ourselves is what most people desire.

Her clients have all the ability within them to live without a panic attack, ruminating thoughts, sadness, and anxiety. When they work with her to learn how they can control negative thoughts and reduce depressive symptoms, they are on the right path to self-awareness and success.

Renee Pierce, LCSW-R

I hold a Dual master's degree in social work and social science from SUNY Albany and Binghamton University, completed in 2000. For over 25 years, I have been dedicated to helping adolescents, families, and adults navigate life's challenges, and discover their own paths toward healing. My experiences span school settings, residential programs, and behavioral health therapy, giving me a deep understanding of how people grow and heal in different environments. At the heart of my work is connection. I believe that meaningful change begins with a trusting relationship. I am a compassionate therapist who will meet you where you are-walking beside you as you work toward balance, clarity, and self-acceptance.

My approach integrates a variety of evidenced based methods, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Somatic Therapy, and Supportive counseling. I also use trauma-focused and strength-based perspectives to help you build resilience and rediscover your inner strengths. Whether you are experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, life transitions, relationship struggles, or low self-esteem, my goal is to provide a safe and collaborative space for healing and growth. Together, we will work to create meaningful change that supports your overall well-being.
